Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager - Private Equity-Backed Software Business
A leading UK-based software and services provider is seeking an experienced Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager to support its global finance operations. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic, fast-paced, and acquisitive environment, ideal for someone with strong technical accounting expertise and a background in complex group reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead preparation of consolidated annual financial statements across group entities.
* Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
* Oversee lender reporting, interest calculations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders on compliance, tax, and financial governance.
* Deliver board-level reporting and provide technical accounting guidance.
* Drive improvements in reporting processes using tools like Excel and Power BI.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with strong IFRS knowledge.
* 5+ years' experience in group reporting, ideally with audit/practice background.
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in Private Equity environments and acquisition reporting is essential.
* Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
