Job Title: Welder
Location: Lincoln Main works
Contract Details: Temporary (6-Month Contract with Potential for Extension)
Salary: £30/hour (Probationary Rate, with potential for increase post-probation)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the manufacturing and installation of pipe assemblies on turbine package builds.
Lead pipe manufacturing and fabrication efforts within module builds.
Coordinate combined test installations and manage decommissioning capabilities.
Actively engage in team leadership, guiding your team to meet production demands efficiently and effectively.
Utilize the "Team Leaders Duties" document (PR01) to foster team development and success.
Collaborate closely with the Cell Manager to ensure smooth operations and seek guidance when needed.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in pipe manufacturing, fabrication, and installation.
Strong welding skills, adhering to current Siemens Energy standards and specific specifications for special orders.
Ability to perform inspections on all manufactured welds to ensure quality and compliance.
Team leadership experience, with a knack for motivating and developing team members.
