Seckford Hall, a historic country house hotel full of charm and character, is looking for an inspiring Guest Experience Manager to lead our Front Office team, oversee revenue strategy, and ensure every guest's journey is seamless, personal, and memorable.
About the Role
As Revenue & Guest Experience Manager, you'll be the driving force behind both our front-of-house operations and commercial performance. From leading and motivating the Guest Experience Hosts to optimising room rates, inventory, and upselling opportunities, you'll set the standard for service excellence while ensuring financial success. You'll combine hands-on leadership with a strategic approach, making sure every guest leaves with a smile — and a desire to return.
What You'll Do
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Guest Experience team to deliver consistently outstanding service.
* Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
* Take ownership of revenue management: optimise room inventory, set rates, and maximise occupancy.
* Analyse booking patterns, competitor activity, and market trends to support dynamic pricing decisions.
* Produce accurate forecasts and regular performance reports, identifying opportunities for growth.
* Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives across rooms, F&B, and spa to optimise revenue while enhancing guest stays.
* Anticipate guest needs and implement personalised touches that go above and beyond expectations.
* Collaborate closely with housekeeping, F&B, and spa teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
* Handle guest feedback with professionalism, care, and a solutions-focused approach.
* Report on guest satisfaction and revenue performance, and implement improvements where needed.
What We're Looking For
* A proven leader with experience in hospitality, preferably in a front-of-house, reservations, or revenue management role.
* A confident communicator with strong people skills — both with guests and your team.
* Commercially astute, with hands-on experience in revenue management and a track record of achieving financial targets.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
* A motivator who inspires their team to deliver warm, memorable, and professional service.
