About us

Our stylish and spacious hotel accommodation in Lytham St Annes is the ideal place to base your stay whilst you explore the wonderful Fylde coast. Our stylish aparthotel offers one, two and three-bedroom self catering apartments with open-plan living areas, workspace and access to our exclusive gym and spa.


Guest Service Representative

Hy Hotel is looking for a Guest Service Representative to join our team and ensure our guests are looked after during their stay with us. Hy Hotel is a new luxury boutique aparthotel that combines the space and freedom of a self-catering apartment with a confident hotel team offering round the clock service.

We want our guests to feel at home at Hy and not have to worry about the small stuff; our team will take care of it for you. Our guests at Hy are individuals, and so is our styling, service, and staff.

As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a vital role in the function of the hotel, and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during, and after their stay. You will be the one with all the answers, the one our guests go to for help and assistance, be great at multitasking, work to deadlines, a team-player, and an effervescent personality!

One day is never the same as the other. Your primary duties and responsibilities include:


Responsibilities

* Point of contact for all guests, members, and visitors to the hotel
* Checking in and Checking out hotel guests
* Reception duties
* Ensure the reception area/pantry/health club and lounge area are clean and tidy
* Communicating with other departments
* Offer a concierge service to our guests, with your in-depth local knowledge of the area
* Assisting with emergencies such as first aid or evacuations
* Daily walk rounds of the venue and health club
* Serving guests drinks from our bar and lounge
* Following company cashing up and billing procedures


Qualifications / Requirements

* Excellent communication skills and be customer service focused
* Be able to work as part of a team and on your own
* Be reliable and punctual
* Be able to deal with situations effectively in a calm and professional manner
* Have an effervescent personality
* Be passionate about providing an excellent and memorable customer experience
* Good local knowledge
* Computer Skills
* Be flexible in working, including weekends, bank holidays, and nights
* A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in reception or customer-facing role (preferably in hospitality)
