Overview
Assistant Stage Manager — Brighter Still at Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. Bradford 2025 is seeking four Assistant Stage Managers to support Brighter Still, our spectacular closing event in December 2025. Taking place outdoors in Myrtle Park, Bingley, the show brings together over 200 community and professional dancers, live music, spoken word and large-scale fire effects, welcoming audiences of 5,000+ each night.
ASMs will play a vital role in rehearsals and performances, helping coordinate large community casts, managing props and backstage activity, and ensuring the smooth running of the event. This is a great opportunity to be part of a landmark cultural celebration.
We’re offering £200 per day for 6 rehearsal days (6–23 December) plus 2 show days (20–21 December). Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered where required.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate large community casts during rehearsals and performances
* Manage props and backstage activity to ensure smooth running of the event
* Support the delivery of rehearsals and performances in an outdoor setting
Engagement details
* Engagement: 6 rehearsal days + 2 show days
* Rehearsal Period: 6–23 December 2025 (up to 6 rehearsal days to be scheduled across this period)
* Performance Dates: 20–21 December 2025
* Fee: £200 per day (Total: £1,600 per ASM)
