Management Accountant – Scunthorpe – Competitive Salary Chase & Holland are currently supporting a thriving manufacturing business in the Scunthorpe area who are seeking an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an exciting role in which you’ll be an integral part of the wider finance function, overseeing all aspects of the Management Accounts. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller to maintain financial policies and internal management information systems. Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Excellent learning and development opportunities Free on-site parkingManagement Accountant Responsibilities: Producing monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and Fixed Asset Register Posting accruals and providing explanation of variances Carrying out variance analysis against budget and forecast Preparing of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets Producing quality sales/financial reporting and analysis to deliver to stakeholders Managing stock levels and ensuring stock and material entries are processed Carrying out yearend accounts responsibilities including year end accounts packs, processing schedules and liaising with external auditors Conducting analysis on profitability by project, brand and division Preparing month end journalsRequired Skills & Experience: Relevant accountancy qualifications desirable such as ACCA, CIMA or strong QBE Excellent analysis skills, able to reconcile and interpret complex accounts/data Ability to work using own initiative, prioritising tasks and working to meet deadlines Strong team-player, collaborating and communicating effectively across departmentsIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Management Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
