We operate lean, high-performing teams. As a Corporate Finance Manager, youll take ownership of live transactions and work directly with clients from day one.
Role Overview
As Corporate Finance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and fundraising mandates, manage junior team members, and act as a key point of contact for clients and advisors. Youll also support origination and business development activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Execution
* Manage M&A and fundraising processes from mandate through to completion
* Build and review financial models, valuations, and information memoranda
* Coordinate due diligence, Q&A, and data room activity
* Support negotiations and manage communication between buyers, sellers, and advisors
Client Management & Origination
* Maintain day-to-day client relationships on active mandates
* Prepare pitch materials and proposals for new opportunities
* Support partners with business development meetings and networking
Team Leadership & Compliance
* Supervise and mentor analysts/associates on modelling and research
* Review junior work for accuracy and commercial logic
* Ensure all work meets internal standards and FCA compliance requirements
Person SpecificationEssential
* 35 years experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, or investment banking
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, multiples, LBO basics)
* Experience managing parts of a deal process and client communication
* Degree (2:1 or above) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* Based in or commutable to Bristol office-based role (5 days/week)
Desirable
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA (qualified or part-qualified)
* Experience with debt advisory, MBOs, or private equity processes
