M4 Recruitment are seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Administrator to join our client’s small and friendly team in Swindon.
This role is ideal for someone who can work both independently and as part of a close-knit team, with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. You will work closely with the Office Manager, supporting day-to-day administrative and financial operations to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4 hours per day (flexible within these days)
Salary: £14.50 per hour for the first 3 months, increasing to £15.00 per hour thereafter
Key Responsibilities:

Managing the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices and matching delivery notes

Ensuring supplier payments are made accurately and on time
*
Keeping track of call-off orders to support smooth production of end products
*
Providing administrative support and working closely alongside the Office Manager
*
Liaising with customers and suppliers via phone and email
*
Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
*
Supporting general office administration, including filing, scanning, and data entry
*
Assisting with correspondence via email and post, ensuring timely responses
*
Maintaining accurate records and supporting ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills and Experience:
*
Previous administrative or office experience is desirable
*
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*
Professional and friendly telephone manner
*
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*
Knowledge of Sage is preferred but not essential
*
Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a busy environment
