Kenmure Medical Practice are looking for a new staff member to join our friendly, forwardthinking practice team on a permanent basis.
Hours available are 20 hours per week, worked over 2 days, 8.00am 6.00pm or 30 hours per week worked over 3 days, 8.00am - 6.00pm. Days to be worked will be confirmed. Some additional hours may be required on an ad hoc basis, for example to cover colleague annual leave.
We are a very busy training practice located in Bishopbriggs (G64) with a list size of approximately 8,700 patients. The role involves working in a fastpaced medical reception environment, handling a high volume of telephone calls, processing information requests, and interacting regularly with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth daytoday practice operations.
The post holder will be required to deal with a high volume of confidential information, so excellent keyboard skills and strong informationhandling abilities are essential. While the role can be demanding, you will be very well supported by an experienced and welcoming team, with clear systems and training in place.
We currently use EMIS and DOCMAN computer systems. Previous experience of working in a GP practice is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The ability to use your initiative, work well under pressure, and contribute positively within a team are essential.
