Company Secretarial Assistant – Insurance
London
An insurance giant seeks a motivated and driven candidate with experience working in a Company Secretarial or Governance function to join their team of 3. They offer flexible working, a supportive team, and growth and development plans from day one.
The role includes:
* Supporting effective Board and Committee support, including managing meeting schedules, assisting in agenda planning, preparing agendas, collating, and distributing meeting packs, and maintaining action logs.
* Attending and taking minutes at subsidiary Board meetings.
* Maintaining statutory registers and minute books for all Group companies.
* Supporting Board and Committee Effectiveness Reviews.
* Assisting with governance projects.
* Managing delegated authorities, including maintaining the Levels of Authority Policy and group-wide powers of attorney.
* Maintaining the Company Secretarial policy universe.
* Responding to ad-hoc information, regulatory, and auditor requests.
* Supporting the Annual Report & Accounts process.
Requirements include:
* At least 2 years of experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently to achieve results.
* Willingness to learn and strive for continuous improvement.
