Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established business based in Birmingham City Centre on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with strong communication and debt recovery skills to contribute to a busy finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
* Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
* Resolving invoice and payment queries promptly
* Preparing aged debt reports for management review
* Supporting the wider finance team as needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a credit control role
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
* Available to start at short notice
