Role Summary:
Are you a creative leader with a passion for design and brand storytelling?
Nidec Drives, Control Techniques is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to cover maternity leave, leading our in-house design team and driving the creation of high-impact visual content across global marketing initiatives.
Note: This is a fixed-term position (12-month maternity cover)
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering collaboration and creativity
* Manage the production of all marketing content — from concept to delivery
* Oversee internal and external creative resources, ensuring brand consistency
* Act as a brand champion, upholding design standards across global teams
* Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and digital teams to deliver compelling assets
* Drive studio efficiency through process improvements and project management
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
* Proven experience in graphic design leadership and content creation
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines
* GCSE or equivalent in English or Maths (Grade C or above)
* Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with real impact
* Lead creative projects that shape customer experience
