A warm, inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in West Berkshire is seeking a SEN and Mental Health Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time, long-term role working with children aged 5 to 16 who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and other complex learning or behavioural challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, Education, or anyone eager to gain experience working with vulnerable children in an education and therapeutic setting.

Salary: £89 - £100 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Ideal for: Psychology, Education, Counselling, or Criminology Graduates
As a SEN and Mental Health Support Worker, you will work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils' learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation and build strong relationships with students to help them feel safe, supported and engaged. The SEN and Mental Health Support Worker role will also involve collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals to implement support plans and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
