Responsibilities
* Recruit and train best people for the team, ensuring they have the necessary operational and leadership skills.
* Coach the team to be passionate and knowledgeable about store products, building the brand and delivering outstanding customer service.
* Lead team in driving trade activity, using expertise to grow sales and maximise profit.
* Build managers’ knowledge to deliver and sustain Store Change Plan and resource‑planned activities, ensuring hours are used effectively and root‑cause issues are resolved sustainably.
* Prioritise colleague safety, ensuring the store trades legally and coaching the team to use all security tools.
Qualifications
* Excellent communicator, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team to deliver results.
* Friendly and welcoming to customers, listening to understand their needs and building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Energetic and resilient, maintaining momentum in challenging environments, owning store decision‑making and acting quickly for the benefit of customers and colleagues.
* Driven to deliver beyond expectation, consistently doing the right thing and inspiring confidence.
* Aware of competitor activity and always looking for ways to introduce new initiatives that improve the store for customers.
