We are currently recruiting for a Maths Lecturer to join the team at the Bromley campus of London South East Colleges on a part-time temporary ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Lecturer who is passionate about supporting and engaging 16 to 18-year-old learners within Further Education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to 16 to 18-year-old students
• Plan, prepare and assess learner progress
• Support students to achieve positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the wider curriculum team
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months’ experience teaching 16 to 18-year-olds in the UK in a similar role
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
Contract Details:
• Part time, 24 hours per week
• Temporary ongoing position
• Immediate start
