Job Overview
Mobile School Crossing Patrol required in the Rossendale area to act as a Mobile Relief providing cover for the fixed‑point school crossing patrols due to absence and to cover vacant posts.
Responsibilities
Provide mobile coverage at short notice on a shift‑by‑shift basis. Coverage times are generally from 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:10 to 15:40, Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks a year).
Requirements
* Access to own transport and business insurance.
* Ability to travel to any of the crossings at short notice.
* DBS check and medical suitability for the role.
* Provide two references.
Compensation
Pay is FLW, currently £13.45 per hour. Payment is for 5 hours a week with additional pay based on duty performed. Uniform and training are provided.
Other Information
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Successful applicants will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure.
