Overview
Link UP London connects people with professional skills to London based charitable organisations on short-term, structured Volunteer Projects to help these organisations develop their capacity, reach more people and make a bigger impact in their communities.
Who We Are Looking For:
EcoCore is seeking a Skilled Volunteer with experience in videography, specifically in planning, filming, and editing short-form videos that drive engagement and inspire action.
Project Brief
EcoCore aims to increase engagement and attract more supporters by creating high-impact video content that clearly communicates its mission. To achieve this, the organisation would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to:
* Plan, film, and edit a short-form introductory video, primarily a call-to-action for donor subscriptions.
* Provide material in various formats for different media – website, social, email, and bear in mind various factors – visuals, sound, dialogue, motion graphics, and branding.
* Advise on best practices for producing video content efficiently beyond the project, including guidance on integrating video into ongoing communications.
EcoCore recognises that video is a powerful communication tool, but its subject matter can be complex. This project aims to simplify and amplify its message, ensuring it reaches and resonates with a wider audience.
Who You’ll Be Supporting
EcoCore is driving systemic change in society and the economy through a pioneering carbon accounts system based on carbon allowances, carbon trading, and business carbon accounts. This simple and elegant framework integrates existing climate policies so that individuals, businesses, and governments can work with each other to drive the energy transition forwards with speed, innovation and a fair distribution of effort.
Time Commitment
