Job Title: Telecommunications Engineering Operative (exchange based)
Function: Energy & Environmental Services (EES)
Reporting To: Division Manager

Role Summary:
This role offers a variety of opportunities covering a variety of sectors from power generation to telecoms, no day will be the same. You will benefit from close working relationships with your peers as well as Project Managers and Site Supervisors who hold market leading knowledge to support learning and development.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Working to a high safety standard.
* Representing the business in a professional manner & liaising with Clients professionally.
* Work is generally based at client sites (exchanges).
* Identifying & logging assets through inventory management, on-site records and investigation.
* Working individually or as part of a team to recover identified assets.
* Generating engineering based ideas to efficiently recover redundant plant (various types).
* Moving in scope kit from generators to telecoms equipment onto appropriate transport.
* Disassembling plant and equipment into right sized manageable elements.
* Moving and transporting equipment.

Experience
* Practical experience working tools & machinery (essential)
* Able to work at heights (desired)
* Physically fit, manual handling involved (essential)
* Driving Licence (essential)
* Driving License - larger vehicles (desired).
* Ability to work within a team or as an individual (essential)
* Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) (essential)
* Ability to use ICT systems.
