Panel Beater Required in Stratford-upon-Avon area, Warwickshire
1. Salary: Circa £43,000 per annum
2. Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
3. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Optional Saturdays as overtime)
Our client; a leading name in campervan conversions and specialist vehicle refurbishment, is currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their friendly and growing team at their Bodyshop in Bidford-on-Avon.
Working predominantly on VW Transporters, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality body repairs and values being part of a supportive, steady, and close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities as a Panel Beater:
4. Carry out high-standard panel repairs on VW Transporters and other light Commercial Vehicles
5. Focus on repair over replacement, particularly working with large panels
6. Assess damage accurately and determine appropriate repair methods
7. Operate Workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively
8. Ensure all work is completed within manufacturer and industry guidelines
9. Maintain high levels of workmanship and attention to detail
10. Collaborate effectively with Workshop colleagues and support
Requirements for the Panel Beater Role:
11. Proven experience as a Panel Beater within the Automotive Body Repair industry
12. Skilled in Panel Repair techniques with particular experience working on large panels
13. Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and teamwork
14. Previous experience working with VW Transporters is highly desirable but not essential
15. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
16. Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising on quality
