Our client, based in the
Midlands
, is currently recruiting for a
Planned Maintenance Surveyor
on a three month temporary contract.
The position is due to start W/C 22nd September, paying a daily rate of
£300 a day
via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience of planned works, ideally with a background within social housing or a local authority.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Managing programmes of work & individual projects from inception, through the works process, all the way to completion
* Investigating & recommending material specifications and tenders for procurement in line with all association regulation and internal procedures
* Undertaking 5-6 inspections per day
* Covering major works inspections, including things like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and garages
Expertise required:
* Experience of planned works, including kitchens, bathrooms etc.
* Ideally be HNC/RICS qualified
* Have a background within social housing or a local authority
Working hours:
* 37 hours per week
* Monday – Friday
