Offer description

To be part of the Engineering Support team working on behalf of one of the UK's leading FM companies.

The candidate would be required to maintain and repair air conditioning systems (VRVs, VRF's, split systems, chillers etc).

Inspect HVAC/mechanical systems, plant equipment and components to identify condition of assets.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems during PPM maintenance & advise accordingly, such as AHU's, fan coil units and pumps.

Undertake routine PPM tasks in line with latest SFG 20 procedures.

To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM's are completed within the contract defined time SLA's & KPI's. To maintain all buildings to a high standard through a proactive manor.

The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and customer delivery and must therefore play its part in the overall delivery of service.

Reporting to the Regional Manager/Supervisor they will be responsible for the delivery of the contract within their allocated sites and in accordance with the contractual SLA's.

The candidate will support the regional supervisor with implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.


Technical

* To undertake maintenance duties as required to making sure all reports are accurately completed within specific timescales
* To provide a flexible approach to working practices within the maintenance team which could involve undertaking tasks associated with building maintenance
* Ensure contractual services are delivered in such a way that it is possible to achieve agreed SLA's and quality targets.
* To produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections e.g. L8 documentation, etc.
* Undertake minor quoted works from initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certification
* To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
* To provide emergency callout response for the client as required and work as part of a call out Rota.
* To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
* To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
* To take a pro‑active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
* To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs always.
* Working in a safe manner always, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Atalian Servest H&S policy.


Planning & Organising

* Ensuring SLAs and measurable KPIs for all works allocated to you are achieved
* Ensuring you have adequate resources to deliver the services in scope including direct labour and the supply chain to deliver the required volume of work to meet contractual SLA's.
* Project yourself, your team and the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.


Health & Safety

* Helping create and maintain a positive safety culture, leading by example at all times
* Ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations under the Atalian Servest Health & Safety Policy, and that work is carried out in accordance with the policy at all times.
* Ensuring sub-contractors work in accordance with the Atalian Servest Health & Safety policy.
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the agreed Atalian Servest processes including the production of job / project specific Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method statements to ensure that works are always planned and delivered to the highest levels of safety standards.
* Ensuring that all health, safety and environmental incidents and complaints are reported and investigated and that action points arising from site safety surveys, audits, accident reports and other recommendations are successfully closed off

Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce


Technically qualified

* City & Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants
* NVQ level 2&3 or City & Guilds in the following: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
* IOSH Working Safely
* Min 3 yrs. experience working within Facilities Management.
* Strong understanding of Building Services Infrastructure.
* Strong background in Technical Facilities Management with mechanical bias.
* Broad knowledge of computerized FM and maintenance management systems (BMS)
* The ability to work within a customer focused environment where brand image is very important
* Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure Atalian Servest / site safety procedures are always followed
* Customer Liaison skills
* COSHH Awareness
* Full driving licence
* Full disclosure is a contractual requirement.
