Accident Repair Technician – Automotive Studies
£31,482 per annum
35 hours per week
Motherwell Campus
Temporary until March 2026.
Our department for automotive studies has a temporary opening for a technician to support classes delivered across a range of vehicle accident repair subjects.
Key duties include providing technical support to teaching staff in a classroom and workshop environment and maintaining stock levels for the consumables and equipment.
To be considered for this position, you should possess a strong background in the automotive industry, with a solid understanding of relevant terminology, tools, and equipment.
You will be qualified to SVQ Level 3 or an equivalent in a relevant discipline. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. It's also a requirement that you hold a First Aid at Work qualification or be willing to obtain the qualification once in post.
This post will be predominantly based in Motherwell and may also require working in our other campus sites.
