You will be joining an industry-leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a major highways project in Nottingham. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Site Agent to join their delivery team.
Your new role
As Site Agent, you will take a lead role in the successful delivery of a large-scale highways project, working closely with Senior Management to ensure the project ispleted safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing teams and subcontractors, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of site delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing direct labour and subcontractors to ensure time, cost and quality targets are achieved
2. Providing technical support to resolve engineering challenges and site queries
3. Managing setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction
4. Leading a proactive approach to health and safety on site
5. Coordinating temporary works, inspections and testing regimes
6. Engaging with key stakeholders and representing thepany at meetings
7. Monitoringmercial performance and ensuring accurate submission of records for payment.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:
8. Previous experience as a Site Agent within the highways and/or public realm sectors
9. Strong understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
10. Experience managing a standalone site or a section of a larger project
11. Strongmunication, organisational and leadership skills
12. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at Work and a full UK driving licence.
