The successful candidate willprovide advice and support to guide and encourage participants toovercome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals.

KeyResponsibilities:
* Meet, and strive toexceed, personal performance targets (Key PerformanceIndicators).
* Progressively manage a caseload ofreferred customers using a variety of appropriate strategies tohelp them overcome barriers to gaining employment.
*Deliver a positive experience to new customers, ensuring theyengage with you and the programme.
* Achieve the CustomerService Standards required on the programme
* Facilitatea range of assessments with each individual, using a suite oftools, to fully understand a customer's personal circumstances,ambitions and goals.
* Where required, provideappropriate advice and guidance on the basics of self-employmentand signpost customers to internal self-employment specialist thatcan further support customers in respect toself-employment.
* Co-produce personalised tailoredAction Plans featuring SMART targeting to enable positive andtimely progression.
* Provide tailored support in allaspects of job-search and interview preparation to ensure thatcustomers are matched to the right job that enables them to sustainemployment.
* Where required, provide appropriatetraining/guidance to customers to help them master digitaltechnologies, for them to engage in guided self-service learningmaterials and online job vacancies.
* Ensure all relevantevidence requirements are met to verify job starts.
*Fully understand the local labour market, to source suitable jobopportunities.
* Undertake direct marketing to employersusing digital media e.g., email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitteretc.
* Market specific customers toemployers.
* Identify the specific recruitment needs ofemployers and undertake tailored pre-screens and groupassessments.
* Develop relationships with keystakeholders to maximise job opportunities, i.e., federation ofsmall businesses, chamber of commerce, JCP partnershipmanagers
* Maintain hard copy and system-held customerrecords to the required compliance and qualitystandards.
* Develop an understanding of specialistsignposting services in the local area/region, building knowledgein areas such as specific disabilities, housing, benefits etc.Knowledge to be applied where appropriate during caseloadmanagement.
* Proactively participate in continuousimprovement activities to ensure that the service continues todeliver excellent customer service
* Ensures bestpractice is adhered to and championed
* Is prepared towork flexibly to meet the needs of the project, including anynecessary travel and overnight stays and working in outreachlocations as needed
* Accountable for own professionaldevelopment and undertake necessary training as identified in thePerformance Review process.
* To handle personal data inaccordance with the organisation's data protectionpolicy.
* Actively participate in, and promote Preventand the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerableadults.
* Adhere to the company's policies and proceduresalways, including Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Quality,Health and Safety and IT.
* To undertake any otherduties, as required, appropriate to thepost.
About you:
Essential
*Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specifiedgeographical locations
* IT literate in using a range ofMicrosoft Office programmes including 365 & modern digitaltechnologies (Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business)
*Experience of working in a target driven environment
*Experience delivering services to meet contractual and qualitystandards
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths atGrade C or above.
* Basic knowledge ofself-employment
Desirable
*Knowledge of the employability industry
* Knowledge ofthe recruitment industry
* Experience of providing'Information, Advice & Guidance'
* Full drivinglicense to enable travel across specified geographical area, whenrequired
