The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for a senior sales leader to shape the future of a well-established and respected UK nursery business. Based on-site in the West Midlands, you'll take the reins of the sales function, driving commercial growth, inspiring a motivated team, and helping bring high-quality trees and plants to clients across the country.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll define and deliver a forward-thinking sales strategy, keeping your finger on the pulse of seasonal rhythms, customer needs, and market trends. It's a hands-on, people-focused role, ideal for someone who's as comfortable at a trade show as they are walking the nursery.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with seasonal and business objectives
Lead and coach a growing sales and customer service team, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture
Build and nurture relationships with key clients including garden centres, landscapers, designers, and wholesalers
Represent the business at trade events and client site visits to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and digital presence
