Skilled CNC Programmer looking to step off the shop floor into a technical, customer-facing role? What you'll be doing:
Providing technical support and machining expertise to customers and internal teams
Planning and running cutting trials, demonstrations, and technical presentations
Delivering customer training sessions on CNC controls and CAM software
Representing the company at UK and international exhibitions
Responding to technical queries and providing on-site support
Working with sales and engineering teams on project handovers
Staying current with machining methods, tooling technologies, and measurement systems
This is a varied role - you'll be working with some of the most advanced turning machines available, solving real technical challenges, and helping customers get the best from their equipment.
What you need:
Strong CNC mill/turn programming and setting background
Confident with CAD/CAM
Experience in subcontract machining or precision engineering
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
HNC/HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is desirable but not essential.

£36,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)
Door-to-door pay with OTE circa £50,000
