As an Associate Consultant you will play a pivotal role in the Market Intelligence function within Data and Analytics (D&A), leading analytical projects & BAU activities to shine a light on emerging credit market trends. You will actively engage with diverse internal stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships, and deliver analytical output that both supports pipeline revenue generation and contributes to thought leadership in the dynamic UK credit market. What You'll Do Extract core CRA data and providing insights to highlight trends and themes being exhibited in the UK marketplace Responsible for supporting the delivery of varied analytical projects that utilise large datasets in a cloud-based environment Demonstrate proficiency in managing and analysing data efficiently, employing analytical tools such as SQL, SAS and Python to conduct in-depth analysis, uncover patterns, and generate actionable insights Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Regularly collaborate with stakeholders to understand their information needs and to provide prompt, data-driven insights & solutions Maintain timely understanding of industry trends and regulatory changes with respect to consumer credit and the potential impact to our clients. What experience you need Relevant numerical degree with a 2:1 or above Experience in programming languages SAS, SQL and Python in a credit risk environment An innovative mindset, with experience identifying opportunities that deliver incremental business benefit through leveraging of data and analytics Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members and clients at various levels, including business leaders A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage with cross-functional teams What could set you apart Previous experience of UK credit bureau data Experience with VBA or Google Apps Script Cloud experience using GCP or Amazon AWS Experience in data visualisation tools
