The Library of Birmingham is looking for a motivated ICT & Digital Content Coordinator to join our team and help shape the digital future of our services. In this varied and dynamic role, you will:
Lead on ICT improvement initiatives and explore opportunities for new and emerging technologies
Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our ICT systems adapt to national, corporate, legal and policy changes
Produce clear, insightful management reports that support decision-making across the Library of Birmingham
Act as the main link between the Library and ICT partners (including Service Birmingham), ensuring all systems and processes meet best practice and strategy requirements
Coordinate and maintain digital content, including updates to the Library of Birmingham website
Support ICT-related projects and occasionally provide frontline service or Duty Manager cover
This role places you at the heart of our digital service delivery, supporting both staff and the public to get the most from our technology and online presence.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in leading library ICT system improvements and maintaining a range of technologies.
Confident in producing accurate and timely reports using multiple systems
A collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships
Organised, proactive, and comfortable adjusting priorities to meet service needs
