Role Overview
The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation. We are a large university supporting research and teaching, offering many career and role specialisms. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the flow cytometry facility in the King’s Buildings campus at the School of Biological Sciences. This role involves providing an efficient and reproducible cell sorting and cell analysis service to researchers using our fleet of state-of-the-art flow cytometry instrumentation. The facility works with researchers in plant, medical, malaria, microbiology, and chemistry disciplines. Training will be provided for those with a different background who can bring relevant alternative skills. There will be opportunities to increase your skills and knowledge through training, conferences, and exchange programs.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. However, this role is not suitable for hybrid or work-from-home arrangements.
