Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum, pro rata which equates to £25,946

Contract/Hours: Permanent, part time (working 30 hours per week)

About the service
The Western Early Intervention Support Service supports families with children aged up to 18 by delivering and coordinating person-centred, evidence based interventions. This support may relate to health, social or educational issues and aims to prevent problems from arising or getting worse. We work with the whole family for up to 12 weeks and can also signpost and help families access other services.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
As a Service Coordinator you’ll be:
* Managing a team of 5 Family Support Practitioners to deliver individually tailored support to children and young people aged 0-18yrs and their families.
* Monitoring and reporting on the outcomes of the families the service supports.
* Providing direct and line management of staff, applying appropriate policies and procedures, also sharing knowledge and experience through coaching and mentoring techniques.
* Delivering a safe and positive work and service environment through compliance with all safeguarding, safer recruitment, health and safety policy and procedure.
* Attending meetings as required.
Let's talk about you
As a Service Coordinator you’ll Ideally you have:
* A degree in a relevant area such as Social Work, Education or Youth Work or a Diploma Level 4 or equivalent in Health And Social Care
* Significant post qualification experience of working with families.
* Experience of managing and developing a team.
* Sound knowledge of Safeguarding.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good IT and organisational skills.
* A willingness to travel as needed.
