Your Role This role is responsible for the day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load of trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload on to trailers. Shift rotation 4 days on 4 days off. Your Responsibilities - Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE - Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures - Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested - Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process - Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training - Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives - Maintain the inspection environment following training - COSHH Awareness following training - Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices - Champion a health and safety culture Your Skills and Experiences - Logistics experience in a large fast moving environment - Strong warehouse system experience - A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work - Experience of working to agreed targets - Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook - Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading - Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner - Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy - Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absence when required The ideal candidate will have: - Good communication skills and a high level of accountability by leading an example to team members - Motivate team members to excel and place the customer at the centre of all decision making - High attention to detail If you are supportive, a trail blazer or innovative we want to hear from you Good Reasons to Join As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.
