Temporary Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 6)
Location: Primary School just outside Scarborough
Contract: Temporary / Supply
Working Pattern: 2 days per week
February - July 2026

We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school just outside Scarborough for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach Year 6 on a temporary, two-days-per-week basis.
This role would suit a confident and committed teacher who enjoys supporting pupils in upper KS2 and helping them prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The Role:
1. Teaching a Year 6 class for two days per week
2. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
3. Supporting pupils with SATs preparation where appropriate
4. Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment
5. Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
8. Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
9. A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
