We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mortgage Administrator to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting clients through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
This is a high-responsibility role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding client experience from application through to completion.
The Role
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will work closely with advisers, lenders, and clients to ensure mortgage and protection cases progress smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and communication throughout the process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Communicating with lenders and providers to track the progress of mortgage and protection applications
* Proactively progressing cases from submission to completion
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and post, ensuring clients receive timely and professional responses
* Preparing client documentation, application forms, and supporting paperwork
* Completing medical questionnaires and liaising with underwriters for protection cases
* Maintaining accurate client records within the back-office system and ensuring FCA compliance
* Scheduling and arranging client meetings
* Researching mortgage and protection products using sourcing systems (training can be provided)
* Keeping up to date with provider criteria, processes, and internal policies
* Delivering an excellent client experience through efficient case management and clear communication
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Mortgage & Protection Administration role
* Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Are a confident communicator with clients, advisers, lenders, and providers
* Have an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
* Enjoy building long-term relationships with clients
* Are proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated
* Can multitask effectively and work to deadlines and targets
* Are comfortable working remotely while collaborating closely with the wider team
* Are eager to learn and develop within a professional and supportive environment
