We’re looking for a Python & JS (Data) Developer to work primarily with customer and performance marketing data in data pipelines (primarily in Python, using Airflow & Dataform) and data warehouses (primarily in BigQuery). Experience in SQL and Python is required; JavaScript experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
* Implement and manage data pipelines using cloud orchestration, ELT/ETL platforms and data warehouses
* Collaborate with internal and client teams to uncover opportunities to make data work harder for marketing/advertising operations
* Proactively contribute to client project delivery and project management, meeting deadlines
* Contribute to Impression’s marketing efforts through written content, webinars and/or speaking at events
* Deliver timely and effective client and team communications, in accordance with client promise
* Plan tasks using project management software and delegate to the team according to resources
* Work collaboratively or autonomously to meet client satisfaction targets
* Follow internal processes and comply with internal policies
* Demonstrate curiosity in AI and machine learning and apply where relevant
* Support the broader Solutions team in areas such as BI dashboards, digital analytics and data science
* Additional contributions may be required from time to time
Technical Skills
* ETL/ELT
* Git version control
* Writing complex SQL
* Python development
* Experience or familiarity with Meltano (or similar), Airflow/Composer, BigQuery, Google Cloud is beneficial
Requirements
* At least 2 years of commercial work experience in a related field
Salary
Salary: £28,600 DOE
Note: This role is hybrid in line with our flexible working policy. We look to hire candidates who are no more than a 90 minute journey away from our office locations to protect personal time and enable travel into the office when necessary.
