Job Description
The responsibilities of the Fund Operations Specialist role include:
3. Monitoring and posting trades across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives, while maintaining oversight of settlement processes alongside the custodian and middle office service provider.
4. Processing corporate actions and dividends, maintaining accurate securities reference data, supporting trading activities and assisting with analyst portfolios.
5. Supporting the setup of broker relationships, contributing to regulatory reporting processes, tracking operational errors and performance metrics, and participating in projects designed to improve operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Fund Operations Specialist candidate will have a strong academic background and between one and three years of professional experience, which may include internships or placements. They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills. The individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritise effectively and enjoy collaborating with colleagues while building strong working relationships. An interest in the capital markets and investment industry would be advantageous.
