Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with our client in the manufacturing sector to source suitable applicants for the position of Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, playing a key role within the finance function and supporting the wider operations team. The role is fully office-based and ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key duties will include:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
2. Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance.
3. Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
4. Supporting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
5. Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
6. Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
About You:
7. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
8. Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
9. Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
10. Hands-on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
11. A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced setting.
