As a Ledger Administrator, you'll join a small team of professionals who provide comprehensive financial support for the Privy Purse.
Key responsibilities
* You'll process invoices and be responsible various reconciliations. You'll make sure every purchase is processed correctly, with appropriate approvals and within the agreed timescales.
* From day one you'll have responsibility for your own workload, be it coding invoices, reconciling statements or checking supplier details. Working as part of a team to meet deadlines will be critical to your success.
* Liaising with managers and internal customers will also be a big part of your role. Handling varied purchase enquiries, the sheer variety of people you'll support will surprise you.
* Working as part of a team to deliver consistently high quality and being ready to learn will be what drives you.
About you
Essential Criteria
* With a working knowledge, or strong interest, in accounting, you'll ideally have experience using a standard accounts software package.
* Personable and confident, you'll bring clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
* Accurate and well organised, you'll approach tasks with a logical and methodical mindset with the ability work to tight deadlines.
* A natural problem solver, you'll work to identify issues and help resolve them efficiently.
* A genuine team player, with a supportive and adaptable approach to your work.
* Equipped with strong IT skills, you'll be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
