Position Details
* Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Experience Essential)
* Location: Worthing
* Contract: Long-Term, Fixed-Term
* Working Pattern: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
* Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
* Pay: Competitive Daily Rate
The Role: Focused SEN Support
You will be a vital part of the classroom team, assisting teachers and directly supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be creating a positive, nurturing, and fully inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Duties Include:
* Providing tailored one-to-one or small-group support to students with various SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH).
* Assisting the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) .
* Collaborating closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure consistency of care.
* Fostering positive social and emotional development and managing classroom behavior.
