After a successful year last year, hitting GBP200 million turnover, they aim to surpass this achievement. I am currently working on behalf of their fast-paced fit-out division, specializing in projects ranging from GBP0.5m to GBP7m, typically within the commercial office sector. They are seeking a Contracts Manager to report directly to the Divisional Director.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Managing profit and loss, observing contract budgets, and variations to control costs
* Maintaining accurate records of all contracts
* Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
* Reviewing design liaising with clients, main contractors, and consultants
* Involvement in estimating from buildability perspectives and participating in mid-bid meetings
* Reviewing and validating tenders
* Developing teams, including recruiting project managers, engineers, and site managers, and staff development
* Ensuring all project deliverables are met
* Leading technically, commercially, and operationally
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Managing projects valued from GBP1 million upwards
* Minimum of 5 years' management experience
* Proven longevity in previous employment
