The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department within the FMCG industry. This temporary position, based in Somercotes, requires expertise in financial analysis and reporting. Client Details Our client is a medium sized manufacturing company in Alfreton. Description Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes. Cost analysis, looking at cost v budget Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities. Dealing with the supply chain, lots of collaboration with business stakeholders Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis. Support month-end and year-end closing activities (all analysis, no posting) Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency. Assist with ad hoc financial projects as required.Profile A successful Finance Analyst should have: Proven experience in a finance analyst role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
