The candidate should have an academic degree (preferably in either Finance, Technology or Human Resources) and a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience. They should have broad experience and understand the complexity of leading people issues. Further the candidate should have experiences with diverse and complex matrix businesses in and familiarity working within a Shared Services & Centers of Excellence model. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is desired but not required. Experience in payroll management, preferably in a managed service or outsourcing environment. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the UK. Experience using Oracle HCM and payroll software and systems, with proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel). Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor both direct and indirect team members to achieve their full potential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented and analytical, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyse data, and implement solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Professional certification e.g., CIPP
