Our client are looking for a Production Administrator / Planner to join their expanding factory in a newly created position. This is a fast-paced role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our concrete manufacturing processes. About the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production schedules, managing planning administration, and supporting communication between multiple departments to ensure customer requirements and project deadlines are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate production loads with the senior planner pertaining to capacity, resources, and customer requirements Maintain and update the company's bespoke planning system with accurate, real-time data Liaise closely with production teams, despatch, transport, and project managers. Monitor production progress and proactively address delays, issues, or changes to plans Assist in forecasting production requirements and resource planning Prepare and maintain planning reports, schedules, and documentation using Excel and internal systems Handle incoming queries via phone and email in a professional and efficient manner Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational efficiency Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team as required About you: Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel Excellent organisational and time management skills Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt Experience in a similar role within a busy production or planning environment is desirable but not essential To be considered for this vacancy, please apply today and get in touch with our supply chain specialist Michael Irwin today.
