Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in various settings. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with specific needs such as Mental Health. The Support Worker will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
* Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
* Engage in behaviour management strategies to support clients with challenging behaviours.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.
* Assist with mobility
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
* Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Submit Housing benefit claims.
* Complete and maintain Support Files for each service user.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in caregiving roles within assisted living or nursing home environments. Familiarity with mental health is highly desirable. A background in nursing or first aid certification will be advantageous. Additionally, experience in general social care may be beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
