Junior Lawyer – Litigation (Parramatta, Hybrid)
An exciting ongoing opportunity for a Junior Lawyer Litigation within DCS Legal Division.
Role Summary
Principal work in prosecutions, civil enforcement, and administrative review litigation supporting NSW Fair Trading business. Fast‑paced regulatory environment, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
* Provide clear legal advice and representation in prosecutions and litigation.
* Take brief and undertake litigation; draft court pleadings, statements of facts, submissions, briefing notes, correspondence.
* Analyse legislation and evidence; assist clients and stakeholders with breaches and litigation, develop guidance and training material.
About You
* Bachelor of Laws or equivalent; post‑qualification experience as a litigation lawyer.
* Admitted to Supreme Court of New South Wales with current practising certificate.
* Sound knowledge regulatory prosecutions, criminal law, administrative law, NSW court and tribunal practice.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, advocacy and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
Grade 5/6, base salary starting at $99,938 plus superannuation.
