Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Kingswinford, West Midlands £37,000 per annum Overtime 3 Shift Rotation Join Our Engineering Team We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Kingswinford. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a 2-man engineering team, keeping a 24/7 production facility running efficiently through a mix of planned maintenance, breakdown response, and installation work. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Responding to breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively Installing and improving machinery across the site Working on a variety of industrial equipment Completing shift reports and maintenance records Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally What You’ll Be Working With Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Welding, fabrication & burning (oxy/acetylene) Slitting & decoiling machinery (desirable) Overhead cranes, forklifts & access equipment Basic electrical fault finding and installation What We’re Looking For Mechanically biased engineer with industrial experience Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (preferred) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience in heavy industry Basic electrical knowledge (a bonus, not essential) Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic Shift Pattern (40 Hours Avg.) Week 1: 6am – 2pm (Mon–Fri) Week 2: 8pm – 6am (Mon–Thurs) £1/hr allowance Week 3: 2pm – 12am (Mon–Thurs) ⚠️ Flexibility is essential to support a 24-hour operation.
