IT Project Manager Contract Position An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled IT Project Manager with previous experience in local government, to join our council client on a contract basis. The role is based in Rochdale, United Kingdom and encompasses overseeing projects within the Finance Service. Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration of new tech systems. Supporting customers and working with stakeholders to successfully deliver on related projects. Management and support of technical changes and upgrades on the Civica financial platform. Required Skills: Local Government Experience: Direct experience in managing projects within local government settings is crucial. Finance Service Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing finance-related projects will be advantageous. Tech Upgrade Implementation: Experience with implementing technological upgrades, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Civica Financials and BluePrism. Automation Background: Ideal candidates will have a background in automation, aiding in efficient migration and integration processes. Excellent organisational and leadership abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure. This contract role requires the candidate to work on-site for three days per week, offering flexibility with a hybrid work setup.
