Director, Group Digital and Social Channels
Job Description
Purpose of the role
To develop, implement, and manage digital marketing platforms and channels, including the website, social media channels, and marketing technology platforms.
Accountabilities
* Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the bank's business objectives, informed by market research, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business goals.
* Create compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, optimize online content for search engines, and manage paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
* Analyze data to make informed decisions, using analytics tools to measure and report campaign performance.
* Manage marketing technology platforms as applicable.
* Maintain and update digital marketing platforms and channels, such as websites and social media.
* Develop content for partner channels and assets as needed.
Director Expectations
* Manage a business function, contributing to strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures. Lead complex projects that may span the entire organization.
* Lead a large team or sub-function, fostering a performance-driven culture aligned with company values, or act as a technical expert and thought leader for organization-wide projects.
* Provide expert advice to senior management and influence strategic decisions.
* Oversee resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.
* Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, monitoring external environment and advocacy groups when appropriate.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of industry practices and external developments.
* Use analytical skills to solve complex problems and design solutions.
* Make significant strategic decisions within own area, influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
* Act as the primary contact for key clients and partners, and serve as a spokesperson for the function.
