Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated sonographer with UK experience and HCPC registration or a relevant professional body. The role involves contributing to a high-quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service and supporting appropriate clinical practice as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder participates in the provision of a high-quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service to the Trust, supporting the superintendent radiographer in the day-to-day organisation of the department and accepting responsibility for designated areas of work.

Person specification
Education / Qualifications
* To hold a BSc Hons degree or DCR in Diagnostic Radiography.
Experience
* NHS experience in ultrasound imaging post qualification.
Skills / Abilities
* High level inter-personal and communications skills.
* Experienced scanning skills to include obstetrics DVTs, groins, hernias, testes, MSK, kidney transplants, paediatrics.
Other
* Sufficient ability to perform the duties of the post with any aids and adaptations.
