QLM is retained by a leading UK food manufacturer to appoint a Supply Chain Director.
This is a leadership role with full responsibility for the end-to-end supply chain across a complex manufacturing operation.
The Supply Chain Director will ensure the supply chain is structured, controlled and capable of supporting both current performance and future growth.
This role offers genuine autonomy to shape and develop the supply chain function, providing the opportunity to build lasting capability and make a visible impact within a growing and complex food manufacturing business.
The Role
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for defining both the current and long-term supply chain operating model, establishing clear processes, systems and recognised best practice across the business.
The role requires strong leadership across multiple sites, building alignment and consistency while encouraging collaboration and shared standards. Effective stakeholder engagement at senior level is critical, ensuring supply chain priorities are clearly understood, supported and aligned with wider commercial and operational objectives.
The position sits on the senior leadership team and works closely with Commercial, Finance, HR and Operations.
Requirements
* Senior supply chain leadership experience within a complex, fast paced UK food manufacturing business or retailer with a good understanding of food manufacturing.
* Experience operating in complex environments with high SKU volumes
* Experience working across sites at different stages of operational maturity
* Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
* Confident working with senior stakeholders
* Hands-on, structured and focused on delivery
