The project involves assessing and designing an operational data strategy to enable future vendor selection and implementation. This includes planning, architecture design, and orchestration strategy.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the operational data strategy assessment for an e-commerce client.
2. Develop a comprehensive data strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives.
3. Design and plan data architecture and orchestration approach.
4. Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
5. Provide recommendations for future vendor selection (implementation phase follows later).
Requirements
6. Principal-level consultant with a top-tier consulting background (e.g., MBB or equivalent).
7. Proven experience in data strategy within retail or e-commerce environments.
8. Strong understanding of operational data architecture and orchestration.
9. Ability to work independently and remotely, delivering high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
10. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
